Privacy policy

At Grieta Diaria we want you to play without worrying about your data: the site works with no sign-up and no cookies, and your progress stays on your device.

2. What data is processed and why

  • Game progress (streaks, bests and today's guesses) is stored only in your browser's local storage. We never receive it, and you can delete it at any time from your browser settings.
  • Technical connection data (IP address, browser, date and page visited) is logged by the hosting provider to serve the site and protect it from abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest in running and securing the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). It is kept only as long as needed for those purposes.
  • Emails you send us are used only to reply and kept while the conversation lasts. Legal basis: your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Feedback form. If you write to us from the feedback page, we process the message type, the section, your text and, only if you provide it, your email. We use them to read your suggestion or bug report, improve the site and, if you left an email, reply. Legal basis: your consent, given by ticking the box on the form, which you can withdraw at any time (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Kept for at most 12 months, or less if you ask us to delete it. Please do not include personal data in the message that is not needed.

We ask for no personal data to play, build no profiles and sell no data.

3. Recipients and international transfers

  • Hosting: Cloudflare, Inc. (United States), which processes technical connection data on the controller's behalf. Its privacy policy.
  • Riot Games, Inc. (United States). Champion and item images and data are loaded from Data Dragon, Riot Games' official service, so your browser connects to Riot's servers and Riot receives your IP address as with any connection. Riot processes that data as an independent controller under its privacy notice.

When these providers process data outside the European Economic Area, they do so under GDPR safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

4. Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to ciroclapal@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

5. Children

The site asks for and collects no personal data to play, so it can be used without an account at any age.

6. Changes

If the way data is processed changes (for example, when adding user accounts or advertising), we will update this policy and show the date of the latest review.
